Bachelor of Cyber Science
Building the next generation of cyber defenders & innovators
Discover the Program
The Bachelor of Cyber Science from Toronto Metropolitan University gives students a comprehensive foundation in cybersecurity, combining technical skills with critical thinking about law, ethics, policy, and human behaviour — all strengthened through experiential learning with Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst.
Cybersecurity shapes how people, businesses, and governments operate in a digital world. This program equips students to protect that world by developing their abilities in secure coding, vulnerability analysis, cryptography, digital forensics, and secure system design. Through workshops, competitions, and Catalyst-supported programming, learners gain practical experience that complements their academic training.
The Catalyst extends the experience by offering hands-on engagement through co-ops, events, projects, and access to Canada’s leading network of cybersecurity professionals. Graduates are prepared for roles such as cybersecurity analyst, incident responder, or forensics specialist — and have clear pathways into advanced study in cybersecurity, computer science, or law.
