Corporate Training & Cyber Range
Terms & Conditions

Delivery

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our programs including Cyber Range  workshops, tabletop exercises and training programs are delivered remotely, via Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx or other video conferencing platforms. If applicable, login information (username and password) and instructions will be sent to your email prior to the start of your session. 

 

System Requirements (For Cyber Range specific workshops):

  • x86-compatible or x64-compatible 2.0 GHz CPU minimum or higher
  • 8 GB RAM or higher required
  • A strong internet connection
  • A web browser (preferably Google Chrome) is required to access and use the Cyber Range platform. 
  • Windows 10 or macOS operating systems are supported.

You will be given web access to the cyber range platform via a URL. Kindly refrain from:

  • Sharing login credentials with anyone else; or
  • Knowingly uploading any file or program that contains a virus, malware, or other malicious code.

 

Training Room Etiquette (Only for In-person workshops):

Please abide by the following rules while in the Corporate Training & Cyber Range facility:

  • Cell phones should remain on vibrate or silent for the duration of in-class sessions unless permission is granted by the instructor or staff in extenuating circumstances;
  • Any beverages brought into the facility should be in a sealable tumbler or water bottle to prevent spills;
  • Food is not allowed in the training room and Cyber Range facilities; and
  • A scent-free environment must be maintained; therefore, users should refrain from wearing fragrances (including cologne, perfume or scented deodorants).

 

User Code of Conduct

Violations of the User Code of Conduct could include (but are not limited to):

  • Misrepresentation of identity or assuming the identity of another by using login credentials other than those specifically assigned. This includes using email or login information issued to another including family members;
  • Reproducing program content including assessments, electronic mail correspondence, digital captures, discussion or chat threads in any fashion and to any other server without explicit written permission from the Senior Instructor or designate;
  • Discussing in any open forum information that is critical of another user, instructor or staff;
  • Disruption of learning, teaching, working or workshop activities or operations;
  • Theft, damage, and destruction of property;
  • Discriminatory acts, behaviours or practice of treating a person unequally, based on any of the prohibited grounds; and
  • Refusal to show identification when requested by City of Brampton Security (when on site), or staff member of the Catalyst when related to their duties.

Violation of the User Code of Conduct could result in removal from the training session/s.
