CLIC (Certifications for Leadership in Cybersecurity) is an intensive cybersecurity leadership training and cybersecurity certification training program in Canada designed to give you the skills you need to launch a career in cybersecurity or elevate your career with cybersecurity skills. The program is delivered through a strategic partnership between the Catalyst and SANS Institute — a world leader in cybersecurity training and certification.
As one of the most rigorous cybersecurity training program in Canada, CLIC offers you the opportunity to earn two globally-recognized SANS GIAC certifications (GFACT and GSEC), develop practical skills in the Catalyst Cyber Range, gain career mentorship from leading cyber experts, and connect with leading cybersecurity employers.
The program is open to anyone with an interest in cybersecurity and looking for a rewarding and challenging career.

What You Will Learn
CLIC is delivered entirely online and uses both synchronous and asynchronous learning, delivered through live SANS on-demand courses. Students also receive instruction in the Catalyst Cyber Range, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst’s simulated, hands-on cybersecurity training environment, as well as training in communication skills, personal branding, career development, and cybersecurity ethics.

The Catalyst is deeply committed to helping close this disparity in the industry. Thanks to our partner, Rogers Communications, we are offering a limited number of $5,000 scholarships to women enrolling in CLIC.
CLIC Career Guidance & Alumni Network
As a CLIC student, you will have access to our dedicated Career Support team providing you with individualized Career Coaching.
Support is provided throughout the CLIC program to help participants identify career paths, build strong resumes, prepare for interviews, and successfully transition into cybersecurity roles. They will work with you throughout the program to choose a cybersecurity career path, build your resume, prepare for interviews, and transition into cybersecurity roles.
As a Catalyst alumni, CLIC graduates will be joining one of Canada’s most established cybersecurity alumni networks, gaining access to ongoing professional development, cybersecurity networking events, and career-building workshops.
CLIC graduates have gone on to work at organizations across the public and private sectors.

SANS Aptitude Assessment
You will be invited to take an online aptitude assessment designed to measure skills such as logic, critical thinking, problem-solving and fundamental computer knowledge.

For three years, CLIC supported five cohorts of emerging cyber professionals. While the program is now concluded, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst continues to develop new cybersecurity training and leadership programs.
