Building AI strategy, governance & organizational readiness

Through industry-informed learning, practical frameworks, and real-world use cases, participants will learn how to assess AI-related risks, establish effective governance practices, and strengthen organizational readiness for AI adoption.

Key topics include AI governance, risk management, policy development, regulatory readiness, security considerations, and responsible implementation strategies.

Lester is Senior Cybersecurity Practice Lead at the Catalyst. He is a cybersecurity and crisis management trainer with experience leading large-scale cyber resilience exercises across the financial sector and military, including CISA Cyber Storm and NATO Locked Shields.
Katrina Lawrence
Senior Trainer & AI Practice Lead
Katrina is AI Practice Lead at the Catalyst as well as the Machine Learning Math Lead at Cohere Labs. Katrina specializes in AI consulting, machine learning education, and mathematics curriculum development, with a focus on making AI accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Randy Purse
Senior Trainer and Practice Lead - Cybersecurity
Randy is Senior Cybersecurity Advisor at the Catalyst. He is a Former Strategic Advisor for Cybersecurity Training & Education at the Canadian Centre for Cybersecurity and a 26-year Royal Canadian Navy veteran with deep experience in cyber operations, workforce development, and security leadership.
