CLIC
Accommodations Policy
For Applicants
Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst is committed to assisting applicants and students with documented disabilities. We will provide accommodations according to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
Please review the application steps for CLIC, and then email the Admissions Office at catalysttraining@torontomu.ca if you require accommodations for the application process.
Applicants will be required to complete the SANS CyberTalent Aptitude Assessment through our partner, the SANS Institute. Any individual completing a SANS CyberTalent Assessment is bound by the GIAC Program Rules which include the GIAC Candidate Agreement and the GIAC Disability Accommodations Policy. Applicants who require accommodations to complete this assessment should contact the Admissions Office as indicated above to receive directions on how to request accommodations through the GIAC Disability Accommodations Policy.
If you are experiencing any accessibility barriers that are preventing you from completing your application, or if you typically receive accommodations, please contact us at catalysttraining@torontomu.ca.
For Students
Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, SANS Institute, and GIAC work closely together to ensure students with documented disabilities have the support they require to fully participate in all Program elements.
Students in CLIC who require accommodations for the GIAC exams or the virtual live classes, must notify the CLIC Program Operations Team via email at CLICteam@torontomu.ca so that we may provide details about initiating the accommodations request process.
The accommodation request process will require specific documentation from a healthcare provider so that appropriate and necessary accommodations can be properly determined. The Program encourages anyone who may require accommodations to reach out as soon as possible to ensure adequate time to obtain this specific documentation and complete the necessary forms before beginning the Program. Requests for accommodations for course materials should be made as soon as possible, and requests for accommodations for examinations must be received at least 30 days in advance of the desired examination date.
