This January, the Catalyst team was on the ground in Malaysia to deliver the Women in Cyber Leadership program with the support of BlackBerry Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCoE) and in partnership with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Over five days, the program brought together women professionals from diverse backgrounds to strengthen their leadership capabilities for today’s evolving tech environment.
Through facilitated sessions, peer learning, and expert-led discussions, participants gained practical leadership tools along with a deeper understanding of the global cybersecurity landscape. With a strong focus on collaboration, real-world application, and long-term career impact, the program helps participants translate insight into action within their organizations.
Delivered internationally through the BlackBerry Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Malaysia and supported by Global Affairs Canada under Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy, the Women in Cyber Leadership program reflects the Catalyst’s growing footprint and commitment to inclusive cyber leadership. By advancing women into leadership roles, this initiative contributes to strengthening regional cybersecurity capacity and resilience.
