March 26, 2026 (Brampton, ON) — As artificial intelligence transforms organizations across sectors, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst (“the Catalyst) at Toronto Metropolitan University is launching Secure AI: a new suite of short, high-impact courses designed to help organizations take control of how they adopt, manage, and secure AI. With this training, organizations will gain the many benefits of AI while managing the important potential risks.
From employee experimentation to AI-enabled vendor tools, AI is already embedded across most organizations. Yet many leaders are being forced to make high-stakes decisions about whether and how to adopt AI tools without the frameworks, policies, or expertise needed to measure and mitigate the important challenges of this technology. Secure AI addresses this growing gap by equipping leaders and teams with practical tools to implement and adopt AI securely, assess AI risks, and guide decision-making.
Recognized globally for its leadership in cybersecurity training, the Catalyst delivers programs to organizations worldwide, equipping leaders with the skills to address today’s most pressing technology risks. This expertise underpins a practical approach to AI adoption, helping organizations move beyond experimentation to implement strategies that are secure, responsible, and resilient.
“Organizations don’t have the luxury of waiting to figure out AI,” said Judith Borts, Catalyst Senior Director. “It’s already here. Secure AI helps leaders move quickly but with structure so they can gain the many benefits of AI for their organizations while minimizing downside exposure.”
Secure AI is launching with two courses designed to connect leadership strategy with operational execution:
- Secure AI: Strategy & Oversight for AI Adoption (Course Beginning June 4)
- Designed for senior leaders, this course focuses on building a clear, defensible approach to AI adoption. Participants learn how to align AI initiatives with business priorities, manage risk, and establish governance structures that support responsible decision-making.
- Secure AI: Operationalizing AI Adoption (Course Beginning Fall 2026)
- This course equips operational and technical leaders with practical tools to implement AI safely across their organizations. Participants learn how to evaluate AI vendors, establish safeguards, and roll out AI solutions with strong security and operational controls.
Delivered virtually beginning May xx 2026, the program requires 6–8 hours of total participation and is priced at $1,150 + HST for one seat.
Organizations are encouraged to enroll both business leaders and a technology or operations leads to ensure alignment between strategy and implementation. Companies that purchase three or more seats across either course receive a 10 percent bundle discount.
