The GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification validates knowledge of information security beyond simple terminology and concepts. GSEC certification holders demonstrate that they are qualified for hands-on IT systems roles with respect to security tasks.

With women holding only about 25% of cybersecurity roles worldwide, it’s clear there is significant work to do to close the gender gap in cybersecurity. The Catalyst is deeply committed to helping close the gender gap in the industry.
Thanks to our partners, RBC and Rogers Communications, we are offering a limited number of $5,000 scholarships to women enrolling in CLIC.
