VIEW: Shaping the future of cyber at the Catalyst Summit 2024

Since the beginning of the Catalyst’s work in 2018 we have wanted to hold an annual gathering of Catalyst alumni, participants, stakeholders, friends, and partners – where members of the Catalyst community could learn from each other, begin collaborations, engage with the work of the Catalyst, and make plans for the next year. Yesterday, we did just that.
We had a room full of graduates, instructors, and mentors from Catalyst training programs, including the Accelerated Cybersecurity Training Program, our RBC FinSec Incubator, and our Challenge Incubator. We had company founders, mentors, and entrepreneurs-in-residence, and current industry and academic Fellows.

Our goal was for the members of our Catalyst community to be connected, enlightened, and engaged. We gathered to celebrate good news – the launch of the Catalyst Cyber Clinic and the Catalyst Community, and to come together to examine democracy – here in Canada and around the world – which is at risk from cyber threats, misinformation and disinformation.
